Mexico Visa for Chinese Citizens

If you are a Chinese citizen and wish to go to Mexico, you must apply for a Mexico visa and a tourist card. You can get a valid visa from the Mexican embassy. This article will discuss all the important details regarding the Mexican tourist card (FMM) and visa.

Mexican Visa for Chinese Citizens?

Mexico offers these visas for Chinese passport holders:

·Mexico tourist Visa

·Mexico Business Visa

While the requirements for both visas vary, here is what you need to be eligible for the visas:

·Application Form: You will need to first fill out an application form. This form is available online, so you can either fill it out online or print it. Please ensure that you put the correct information on the form, and don’t forget to sign it once you’re done.

·Original Passport: To apply for a Mexican business or tourist visa, you must have a valid Chinese passport. You should hold a passport valid for at least 6 months or more. Your passport should also have plenty of blank pages.

However, there are visa exemptions as well for Chinese citizens. If you meet the following criteria, you don’t need a visa to enter Mexico:

·Holding a valid multiple entry visa for these countries: Japan, the United States, Schengen Countries, and the United Kingdom. (Note: Transit visa is not included).

·If you hold a valid residence permit for these countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Schengen Countries, Peru, Colombia and Chile.

·Have an approved APEC (ABTC) business travel card from the Mexican government.

Mexican Tourist Card for a Chinese National?

The requirements for the tourist card are the same as the ones discussed above. However, to apply for the Mexican tourist card, you will need to do the following:

Step 1

First, you will need to fill out the application form. Once again, ensure you put the correct information in the form. Your application will be canceled if your form contains incorrect or false information.

Step 2

In step # 2, you will have to review the application and make a payment. You can make the payment through your Paypal account or a credit or debit card.

Step 3

This is the last step of the procedure, and you will need to upload all the necessary documents here. Once you upload all the documents, you can press the submit button. However, when will you receive your tourist card? That depends on the procedure you choose. Here are the three procedures:

Standard Procedure

With the standard procedure, you will get your tourist card in 24 hours. While this procedure is slower than the other procedures, it is cheaper and will only cost you around $ 35 (Inclusive of service charges).

Rush Procedure

This procedure is faster than the standard procedure and will deliver your tourist card in 4 hours. However, this is slightly more expensive and will cost you around $ 61 (Inclusive of service charges).

Super Rush Procedure

This is the fastest procedure, and through this procedure, you will get your tourist card in half an hour. The cost of the super rush procedure is $ 100 (Inclusive of service charges).
