Foreign national who meet one of the following criteria are eligible to apply for a Resident Visa in Colombia.

  • You have held a Migrant Visa for a minimum of four years without interruption
  • Your child is Colombian
  • Your Colombian citizenship has been reinstated. If you intend to return to Colombia after having renounced your citizenship, you can seek a Colombian Resident Visa
  • A major portion of your financial resources is placed in Colombia

One can renew their Colombia Resident Visa every five years.
