When a traveler’s application is accepted, they are directed to a “Thank You” page where they can get the file they need to read.

Although the Check-MIG Colombia form has been revised to address known issues, the original version has been widely condemned. Hopefully, everything will work well if you fill out the Check-“just MIG’s in case” form. After 30 seconds, you will receive a confirmation email with a “QR Code” indicating that your submission was received successfully. Send it no later than 24 hours before your flight’s planned arrival in Colombia. However, you might not get a QR code, but do not worry; you get two types of receipts: one that has a QR code and the other that does not. Both are ok and Colombian authorities accept them.

Can I Apply for the Colombia Check-MIG With Minimal Effort?

Can I Save my Application and Come Back to it Later?

Yes. But try to finish the Colombia Check-MIG Form all in one sitting. Your credentials may fail to enter the system at times. This necessitates a full program restart.

Can I Reuse my Approved Check-MIG?

No. One person can enter at a time. Therefore, you must fill out the Check-MIG form before entering Colombia and returning home.

What do I do if my Check-MIG is Denied?

The Colombian government has complete discretion over whether or not to grant you entry. If you pose a health risk, such as from recent exposure to COVID-19, officials may reject your Check-MIG application.
